Need help in building a box for 1 H.O. 8"

I need some ides on how to build a box in my 98 standard cab ranger. Ive removed the center console armrest. Im thinking about doing sometnhing like where i make the top of the boc about 2 inches below the back window, then come of that at a 45 on each side and make like a delta wing shape box but the top flat to mount the sub. im 6'3 and dont want to sacrifice any legromm for either side. ive also considered bass tubes, but i doubt theyll give me the thump i want. you can buy em from deffaudio.com . they look like a bazooka tube but there mdf with carpet. im just wondering what that would sound like with some thing like a skar 500 watts rms 8" in it. the bass tube only offers .52 cu ft and is ported like a bazzooka. here it is. http://www.deffaudio.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=106_129_137&products_id=3917 . what do yall thing a high output 8 would sound like in that??

I have one of these in my 93. Hits good.

I know it's not an 8" but it works and fits well. If you wants pics just let me know

Ive had a kicker comp cvt shallow mount, as well as a pioneer shallow mount and just wanted somethin different. to be honest gettin good bass outta these regular cabs cost more than an extended cab.
