My shifter lever busted and I can't find the appropriate replacement parts. I am new at this so if I am in the wrong category please let me know.

87 Ford Ranger
Manual 4wd 2.9l v6

Here are pictures of the old parts. The bushing inside the black housing is what broke.

Searching for the parts I can't find anything similar. This part E7TZ7210S is the one listed for my truck but it looks different. Thanks for the help.

The most recent name I know for that part is "unavailable".

It was unavailable a decade ago when I sold one I had that still had the factory inventory stickers on it...

My GOD!!! you still have a FUNCTIONING Mitsubishi-built FM145 transmission?

I thought they were all dead and gone years ago...

The last one of those I've ever seen working is the Factory NEW crate transmission that y brother found in the back parts room of a dealer he worked at.. it had been lost where they had a stairway collapse in the run down service building they were in...

anyway to make a long sad story short I gave that transmission to my uncle for his 1987
4x4 supercab and after working on putting it in over thanksgiving weekend the trans lasted him through tfour weeks of work then blew up (literally split a gear in half)
while driving out to visit his girlfriend's mother and I wound up going to rescue him and tow him back on Christmas day during a major winter storm...

Good luck finding one in useable shape, that part is one of the many weak points of the Mitsubishi trans

My shifter was still good when the bearings in my 145 came apart. If I had known that shifter was such a sough after piece I would have been more careful to not lose it.

Thanks for the help everyone, I finally found the part at a local wrecking yard. I am back on the road.
