I believe these are 194 bulbs, but i plugged regular 194 bulbs into where they go, and it didn't put out enough power like these ones do..so i need some help identifying what they are.
Those look like Putco LED 194 bulbs. Basically an LED is a little diode that can emit much more light for its size than an equivalent filament bulb. I'm guessing they are Putco brand by the casing colour/shape.
I thik he is saying the LED's didn't put out the light he was hoping they would, compared to the incadecent ones.
I found with LED bulbs it really matters what pattern and how namy you get. Like for my truck i got the superbrightled 4x bulbs with the widest spread I could get which I think was like 90 degrees and they show up great. Some people have had luck with the single bulbs and 180 degree patterns in older trucks.
My problem is : I hooked in a green LED bulb in its place, but it didn't put out nearly as much light as this one does. I need to fight the exact match to this one, but in amber.
Nobody seems to understand what i am asking, so ill try to reword it.
It is a 194 LED bulb, i am aware of that. However, when i hook in a LED light i had in my gauge cluster from a previous car, it is only half as powerful..so there has to be something special about these particular LED bulbs.
Well there is, every company makes different lights, just like if you get Phillips bulbs for your truck and they are way brighter then the old GE bulbs in there. The light output is just different, different manufactures have different specifications to others.
