Need good cheap clutch on 04 4.0

Hay I am needing to sell my ranger cause I now have my second kid on the way but the clutch went out last week. I can get it to drive on the freeway but its not happy about it. I have looked but most all the ones I see are like $300+. I dont have a ton of extra cash right now (I have a 6 month old) so I would like to get it back going on the cheap. I do think the slave is gone but the clutch has also been burned a time or two up in the snow. Any help as to where to go for the clutch would be great.

Napa is probably the best bet for cheap. You are still looking at about 200. And if you take the trans out, you need a slave.

NAPA was even more then most and yes I need a new slave.

I know this. Its not the first time I have done one, but it is on this truck. I just figured it would not hurt to see if anyone on here had found a place with a low price. I am only replacing it to sell it so I wanted to try and save some if I could.

wheeelllll its a gamble doing it this way but: junkyard one. probably cheaper by far but reliability may be hit or miss.

Ford clutch are pretty reasonably priced and should come with the slave on your '04 IIRC
