ive got a 01 ranger 4x4 4.0 i want to put a good free flowing dual pipes on it for better power. muffler back two pipes and some changes to the converter system my last one is bad. and i have a few questions about flow back pressure ect.

1. whats the recommended pipe diameter for best performance and to keep the correct ammount of back pressure on a motor? 2.5 seems pretty common...

2. can i leave the first three converters and drop the last one its after the o2 sensors and seems to not be needed as the third is there. it seems to stop a lot more flow than needed or would replacing the last two converters with high flows have the same affect as dropping the last one completely out?

3. whats a good muffler for a deep tone but not too ricy?
