1989 4x4 xlt 2.9 auto. I noticed that the connector plug for the Iac was broken, It is now fastened with a wire tie. can I buy replacement or is this a junk yard item.and would this cause my loping idle and loss of power. The IAC is only 5 months old, I think the connector may have been broken during the o2 sensor connection process Any advice? Thanks

I'm using a plastic zip tie.
yeah clip a connector out ..just make sure that you keep everything the same.
You might want to ask at your favorite JY if they care if you clip out a connector...they may make you take the hole section of loom.

If your having LOTS of wiring issues Painless Wiring make all kids of Harness.

Might head off more electrical issues in the future.
