Need Checklist on Fixing air conditioner

need to know where to start in getting a/c working.

First turn on the AC and see what the compressor does. Does the clutch engage at all? Does it cycle every few seconds? Is the compressor seized?

If the clutch never engages, jump the connectors on the low pressure switch. If it engages then, it's low on refrigerant.

If the clutch cycles every few seconds, it's low on refrigerant.

^^Those are your most likely symptoms.

That should be enough to at least get you started. Report back with your findings.

I did my own work on a few of my rides. I just Googled the info and followed the directions step by step and got my a/c working again for me a a few buddies as well. Never had any issues with them again. Google is a big help in so many ways......
