need brake help bad please!

I found one wheel cylinder leaking. Couldn't get the brake line to unscrew so I rebuilt it in place. But all the time I was working on it it was leaking inside from the connected line. Got it put back together and bled that line. Is this OK or should I have stopped the line from leaking before re-assembling? Thanks.

i had always thought that once the wheel cylinder starts leaking you should replace it...maybe i am remember incorrectly.......

OK

What's the best way to remove seized lines to wheel cylinders and master cylinders? I've been spraying with PB blaster for a week and they still won't budge.

What does this mean???

From time to time, when I park the truck, I can briefly smell brake fluid in the cab. Haven't ever determined where its coming from. Could it be leaking thru the power brake booster from the MC? Thanks.

yes! it could leak into the cab

Haven't noticed any.

Usually its on a hot day and you only smell it briefly like 1/2 second right when the truck is shut off. And then its gone. A little embarassing when I have a (female) passenger. Actually I'm not sure she smells it since its so brief.
I'll get under the dash with a hose the next time I smell it.
Many thanks guys.
