Need advise on longblocks

I have an 01 Ranger with the 4.0 SOHC. Does anyone know which year longblocks(shortblock with the heads) will work? I've gotten so many opinions I thought I'd check here. Truck is 4 x 4 with an automatic.
 
Thanks for the post. That's why I thought but some buddies gave other opinions.
