Need Advice

I need advice about how much to charge for mowing. There is a realtor with 4 lots within a mile of my house. All total there is about 20 acres to mow.

How much do you think i should charge to mow the lots? I was thinking about 200.00 for it all.

I have a 6ft finish cut bush hog so it really won't take long to mow.

Any ideas are appreciated.

$10.00 an acre? Are you kidding me? You cant get a city lot done for less than $40.00 Granted you have the equipment and can do it quickly but that is way too cheap.

yeah i would say do about 30 an acre and thats still on the cheap side

I had thought about calling a bussiness here in town to see what he would charge, then subtract some.

hire a fence jumper for a day each week gave him $40.00 and charge the realtor $200.00

Charge your time equipment at about $250.00/hr I'd say.

Remember, realtors make big coin, commissions for most property sales are in the range of 10-15% + fees and whatever other sneaky charges they can weasel in on you. (sorry had a few bad run-ins with realtors-don't like em much.)
