Need advice on c-notch...

Got my DJM 4/5 kit installed with Doetsch Tech Slammers and running 17x9 chrome '04 Cobra rims with 245 f/275 r Sumitomo's. Got everything aligned and it drives pretty good. Problem now is there is practically NO rear susp travel--sharp impact with frame if you drive over a road imperfection (yes, I cut the bump stops... ).
I know with my truck being a S'Cab that notching the rear frame is a no-no due to potential driveshaft-cab interference. Question is--does anyone make a kit to make a clearance tunnel for the driveshaft to clear the rear of the cab so I can notch the frame? If not--any of you guys that have done this have any pics of your setups? Measurements?

You may be able to get away with a short bolt in notch (like in the link below) and not have to tunnel the cab. I dont know for sure, but its worth looking into.
