I have 88 2.9 with a code 64 ACT/IAT / vane air temp fault or circuit grounded where is it and what do ya'll think is the best fix :dunno:

Pretty sure it's the aluminum cylinder shaped piece on your upper intake, driver's side if I remember. Does your idle stick a bit high? I went through some tall hay like grass with a cone K&N under the hood and right afterwards I had high idle and the same code. I popped it off and cleaned it out with brake clean. Never had a problem with it again! Hope this helps.
