Im just looking for a RWD car to bomb around in and have some fun. Something cheap, but Im not sure what kinda car I should look for so start naming off cars that I could get pretty cheap ($1-1500) that are pretty easy to find. I want something I can rally around and have as a project with me and my friends.

This is not a wanted ad, I need lists of cars because I don't know what ones are RWD and what are FWD. Thanks

any particular reason you NEED a RWD? i know FWD is hard to swallow sometimes, but they are often much cheaper, more reliable, get better fuel economy, and just as capable as a daily driver than their RWD counterparts.

the only RWD cars left are mid/full size vehicles like the mustang, crown vic's, ect.

Crown vic, town car, any year mustang, a 90's Impala/ Caprice, 90's Buick Roadmaster (Same car as an impala) , Uhhhmmm Nissan 240 or 300 ZX even tho thats not really my thing.

Thats about all I can think of.

For $1500 your not gonna find much, maybe an old beat on 4cyl Fox mustang or and Old crown vic police car

any older volvo LOL

The 80's large GM cars, The Perisiennes, Impalas and Caprices, and then the Crown Victoria's and Grand Marquis. You're not going to get a rear drive car for between $1000 - 1500, unless its the 80's or before, or the odd Crown Vic.

u can get any 80's volvo for under 1k usually lol

Thanks, this is the kinda answer I was looking for. Also I've seen some 240sx for pretty cheap too. I wanna rally it, I was even thinking of just buying a dune buggy but then I'd need a trailer and have to pay for gas in a truck and in the car.

Thinking about the old Volvo, A buddy of mine here, in Calgary, is trying to get rid of his old 1982 Volvo 240D. The body is pretty rusted, but it runs good. If you're in the Calgary/Southern Alberta area, and interestd, message me, and I'll get some more information for you.

Im out in BC. But hey shoot me some info on it, its not that far of a drive lol.

Get a older rail or buggy and make is street legal. alot of folks around here will throw street/dirt tires on there rails and run them around town. hell I live in the phx metro area(mesa/tempe) and there are a few guys who have there 400cc atv street legal, and ride them to work down three lane street doing 50mph.

You could probably find an 82-92 Firebird or Camaro with a throttle body V8 for around $1500. They are fun cars to thrash.

'76 Fiat 131, but they're hard to find, and the stock motor is making about 64 hp ;missingteeth;

Fox Body Mustang with a 5.0L. For under 1500 it wont be very nice, but it will still be enough to hav fun with.:3gears:
