My 99 blows out of the vents while at idle or stopped but when under load it starts to blow out of defrost vents. I know its a vacuum leak but don't know if behind dash or somwhere under hood. only thing that has changed is transmission was rebuilt a week ago, before that it was fine. Any suggestions

sounds like the infamous "blend door" issue. search around a little, lots of info on the subject...

Fixed

The vacuum actuator for the front hub was leaking, bypassed it & a/c works fine. Already locked the hubs so don't need tha vacuum anyway

where is the actuator, I am having the same problem. what exactly did you do?

on passanger side.down around coolant reservoir,my vacuum hubs went to it. to bypass it get some vacuum T's and bypass
