well so today i pulled apart the truck to replace the wheel berings in the front left as the were well shot and during the process i lost the lil part that locks in the wheel bering adjustment nut, thrust spacers and cam assembly "single hump locking key" as its called in the blow apart diogram iv got here. i have everything but that key and thus i caint put it back togeather as im assiming that you kinda need that sort of thing. would that be something i can get at a parts store or the dealer on its own? or do i have to go hunt the junkyard? i do have another parts truck with manual hubs but no swap kit.

well i think you could take the manual hubs from the other truck and put them on the one in need. the swap kit is nothing but some nuts and spacers with little holes in them. if the truck with the manuals has that you can just move the whole assembly.

well the manuals are all there but the right hub got the switch busted off an i gotta replace that so i wouldnt have a way to switch it from 2wd to 4 on the right side. i think at least...

il see if i can pull up and post a pic of it

the part i need is that lil sucker circled in red

hmm well i looked at a posting here saying to check my spindle berings too... good thing i read that being i found a needle from a needle bering when i pulled the inner wheel bering out so il most likly be replacing that too. the lovly kicker is i need this all done by saterday... being i gotta go to work

soo i looked and the dana 28s ran up into the 90s would that mean i could use any auto hub and pull that part from one?

so i think il do that if i cant find an auto hub. i got all the parts to fix the bering an seals im just suck now being i dont have that lil key. how do the lil red switches come off of the maunal hubs? il be goin to a junkyard now to serch for both hubs an il check this when i get back

well all good news i found the part an the b2 will be rolling tonight!

cool glad you got it rolling i know what its like to be stuck with no transportation (my truck got stuck off roading for 3 days when the tranny gave out so it wouldent move
