Confused and Intolerant
Well, decided on a goal for my kit truck:

Here it is, I would be getting the body in a box, for the record.

I believe this is the one made on a ford ranger chassis, they have an assembly video using an wrecked extended cab.

Body in a box (you weld it together) costs almost $5000, and possibly $500 in shipping.
The premade body with fiberglass doors, hood, and rear end is almost $10k-$15k!

i could justify the money for them... but its cool

with less miles on the motor.. and not have to build it!

Damn those are nice... but for that much cash i would have to pass lol. Maybe if someone wins the lottery and desides to shower us awesome TRS members with gifts... ;)

There's just something about making a Ford look like a GM product that ain't right. Doorgunner's 37 Ford kit will be pretty hard to top when it comes to a kit involving an RBV.

I liked watching the little men run around...but they do not finish the job...

I'd do something like that...if I ever won a lottery...but 15 Gs to turn my Ranger into a Humburger...nah...

I think Id do a v8 swap before I make my ranger into a minihummer.

Anyways one of these 6x6 goes on sale for 5-8 grand or so every once in a while up here, if you wanted a meatwagon.

Use the money to get one of these and spend the rest on diesel. You could probably run that guys truck over LOL!

15 grand? damn.

theres a real civilian hummer (h1) sitting in someones yard around here, on flat tires with weeds growing around it. if i could remember where it was, i bet he'd take less than $15,000 for it.

You need a class B (over 2300lbs? The Limit with a C think?) to drive those (they weigh over 5 tons, hense their nickname "5-ton") I think, and those are terrible on gas, there is 4 or 5 for sale around here, they use em as plows. We even got old retired military trucks, blazers, and more. Even some willies. And our armory guys like taking the humvee for joyrides haha.

Theres a yellow 4 door hummer own by someone in town, only ever see it on the road, never seen it in a driveway so I'm assuming they live outside of town.

Another time, I saw a white H1 stretch limo, I did a double take to make sure it wasnt some H2 Tahoe-that looks-like-a-Hummer limo, but the back end deffinitely told me it was an H1.

Until I clicked on the link, I thought you were talking about the buggy, or the setup with the buggy half on the roof.

I wanna see a buggy in the back of a short box ranger, with the front wheels on the roof like that...
