NC Ranger Owners

There are a bunch of trails but you usually ave to know people to drive on them since its normally someone's land.

Some off road clubs are there so it would probably be easy to connect online and go out with them. Lots of the marines have jeeps and toyotas and go do stuff. And, you can drive on some areas of the beach too so there is also that type of off roading but just be careful and dont get stuck. A beach tow is very expensive

@Patriot1 , Welcome to TRS! You're not terribly far from me. I'm between Spartanburg and Greer, SC. Old NC105 is a beautiful, easy ride along the top of the mountains by the Linville Gorge. Brown Mtn also offers some wheeling. I haven't been there yet. Over to the east of Chatlotte, is Uwharrie. Over towards TN, is Hurrican Creek, Buzzards Roost, Goat trail and another rd whose name I can't recall at the moment. Over west of me is Horse Pasture and some other trails in the Jocasse area, both in NC and SC. Then going toward Georgia, we get to Charlie's Creek, Sarah's Creek, Earl's Ford and then the Cohutta forest district, whch is great. The Georgia Traverse covers most of those. It's only a few hours to Windrock in TN. I'm trying to increase the frequency of my rides and camping trips. Watch for announcements here. fb://group/294947209421416?ref=share

Hey Eric,
I am looking for a really decent mechanic in our area that really knows older Ford Rangers. I prefer independent shops over dealerships for service on my truck.
Any suggestions?
@ericbphoto

Thanks!
