I wouldn't feel safe in one of those; I don't care how much "support" bracing there is. That thing gets t-boned by a truck and your ass is dead.

There are a bunch running around Louisville, KY. I just don't see how they are comfortable either.

Maybe we could mount one on a Ranger Chassis and rig some air bags on the outside. Then it would pop off sort of like the driver's pod on a drag boat.

sorry, but the Smart fortwo does considerably better in side impact crash tests (and all other crash tests) than the ranger
