Rough truck, needs body work and a tranny. Ive been eliminating unneeded systems and parts like the ac and jump seats.
Looking to put a body lift on, then rims and tires soon after followed by tube bumpers.
Ultimately it will get a 302 conversion.

I'm not too far from Galveston. Spent a fair amount of time there when I was younger. I like it, but I like it more where I am at.

Well Tex. New Tranny first. Get it all power washed and get the undercarriage resprayed a matte black.
A whole of parts replaced and painted. Shocks, oil pan, valve covers and like.
Already took off the AC, Im in the process of removing some wiring, those hideous diamond plate steps, the hideous bed rails. Took out the jump seats and alot of bs plastic coverings.
I have a guy Im gna have build a brand new center console out of diamond plate with a leather top.
New rims and tires once the body lift is on.
Eventually, the drivers side rust spot on the back of the cab will get replaced.

Shes a good truck. Literally sat on a farm for 15 years. Guy passed away. Son sold it. My friend bought it for 1500, tranny died. I got it for 700.
Pretty solid ride, just needs some love.

Sounds like fun. I bought my 90 4wd off a guy who had been using it on his hunting lease since 2002 back in 2011 for $650. Started out as a good truck, but I started tearing it apart and never have gotten to put it back together.
