Name of an engine part

We own a ’99 Sunfire with the 2.2 engine. I think one of the spark plugs is cross threaded. What exactly is the name of the part that the plugs are threaded into? A local junk yard has a similar car and I’m wanting to call them to see what’s the price difference between having them pull it or doin it myself (with the help of a mechanically knowledged friend). I figured reaplacing that part would be the best route since I think it needs removed anyhow to repair the seal (oil stains on block that looks like its coming from that area). Thanx!

I think it's best to leave it to someone who knows a little more about engines and has a mechanical ability

if all is wrong with ur head is a plug is cross threaded why not just retap the threads and put heli coil in it

Yeah you always get a better rate on things when you atleast sound like you know what your talking about... Because then then think you probably know what its worth more or less.
