Anyone happen to know what these two rather unsearchable, light grey plugs are for? I had always thought they may have something to do with AC. My trip to Jalopy Jungle last week proved otherwise, as I now have a complete AC system from an 88 Ranger with an intact extension harness, and have found the plug for the button on the HVAC control.

Those look similar to connectors in the universal radio kit for 83? - 9? Fords.

Interesting. I'll continuity test that system and try to make sense of it. Sadly thats the only thing on this harness thats been butchered. Otherwise its mint. Somebody cut the radio plugs off and had a cheap aftermarket unit bodged in with lamp cord that blew the pannel light fuse every time you turned the headlights on.
