Getting ready to replace shocks on my 1995 ranger xlt. There is a small piston in the wheel well area that looks like the pistons they use on hatch backs. Its does not show up in any parts search. Thinking its some sort of stabilzer for motor but not sure.

If anyone knows how to find a new one, let me know.

I believe it's an engine vibration dampener. No idea where you find one.

This it?

They aren't even on all of them, so they are obsolete. The only company I know of that made them is dead.

4.0 only. VBH damper. Useless. Lol.
