I just put rear brakes on my truck (brake hose, wheel cylinders, hardwear, shoes, and drums) while trying to bleed the brakes I couldn't get any fluid to come out. I completely removed one of the bleeders hopped in the truck and pumped like crazy, the peddle actually built up brake pressure like normal.:icon_confused: Any ideas on what could be stopped up would be greatly appreciated.

BTW Thought it was odd that hardly any brake fluid came out of the hard line while replacing the hose.

Bad RABS valve was the first thing to come to my mind too. Disconnect the line going into the valve and see if you have fluid there.

Where is the valve at? And yes I have RABS.

Follow the two lines from the master cylinder to this odd looking hunk of metal sitting bolted to the fender area. this is the ABS pump/valves.

you can disconnect the lines going in and out of it, and take it apart and clean it. i have never done this myself, but here is a thread that someone posted a few days ago on how/what he did.

before doing all this however, you can disconnect the brake line OUT going to the back and see if the fluid squirts out there like it should.
mine is 4 wheel ABS, so i have two lines in and three out. if yours does, just make sure to find the line out for the rear.

Read my post about how to fix the RABS. Its not difficult and its cheap :)
