My wife wants everyone to know.....

I've been known to improvise blues solos when I'm thinking hard.

Nothing wrong with the occasional song. And the musical form is one I enjoy; I just don't think Grease is the best one out there. In the Rock genre, Little Shop of Horrors is much better. But I favor Richard Rogers (especially the early stuff) and Cole Porter anyway.

I burst into song often. Sometimes at work. haha. Only when I'm in a good mood and want to get a rise from my gloom co-workers. It usually works. Sometimes I do it just to fu*k with a new guy to make him think I'm nuts. That usually works too.

I like music as much as anybody but just could never get into musicals. Probably because I was forced to watch them in preschool. Or it must be the event of 50 or more highschoolers all being professional singers and perfectly choreographed dancers spontaneously breaking out into an "improvised" broadway performance. Plots from bad sci-fi movies have a better chance of coming true than something like that.

As for spontaneously singing. Ya i do that to get people around me to go away or to take my mind off a situation that has me really nervous (an MRI machine for example).

Sometimes I feel.......like I been tied to the whippin post, tied to the whippin post, tied to the whippin post....good lord I feel like I'm dyin.

My wife always asks if we(men,males,boys,hunter-gatherer types)break out into songs when we're all alone, and in the shop. She seems to think we do for some reason, especially after watching that movie.......

Well, you can tell her for sure that one guy (whose name you can withhold) breaks out in a rousing chorus of "I'm a Lumberjack and I'm All right"...every once in a while...:icon_rofl:

I break out into song all the time. *shrugs.

Maybe Grease Cappy? Or maybe some led Zeplin or AC/DC? lol :P

Anyone here old enough to remember 'Welcome Back Kotter' and the sweathogs?

John Travolta was 'Vinney Barbarino' in that show.

I was at Bob Evans Sunday. They have a new breakfast dish called BOBurrrito. Reminded me of the sweathogs.

Oh, yeah...I had to watch that show because it was all we could get...other than news or a few other channels...it wasn't too bad though...some of the episodes were funny...some were just silly
