Hey guys, so got tired of scraping RTV off my diff cover, and figured why not try out the Lubelocker gasket for the 8.8 Here is a picture of what it is:

Well, its been a couple weeks, and no leaks. I used it when I installed my new diff cover. It has sealed very well, and was a heck of a lot easier to use than RTV, and less messy. Plus the next time I have to take it off, theres no more scraping stuff. Here is a pic of my diff:

I ordered the Lubelocker from Shaffers Offroad, good guys to deal with. Anyways, figured just in case any of you guys were wondering, I would recommend it for others who have their diff covers off once and a while.

Cheers,

So...I should probably get one of these for when you do my rear end eh?

haha, doesnt matter, were going to have to scrape off your old diff cover either way. You get all your stuff yet?

I like this idea but i couldnt bring myself to pay that much for a gasket.

Nope, I payed and everything and they never said anything back. But I know they all got paid so things better be in the mail. We'll have to scrape my old stuff off but I'll have to take the cover off a couple times after. Change fluid and eventually put in the locker...I'll look into this

Why how much is it...

thats cheap.

what about t cases? would love a 6 holer and a set for vc and diffs.

and just in case anyone was wondering...these are RE-USABLE.

My meaningless opinion of the day is that these are bitchin. Lots of guys around here are running them. I will run one when I swap diff covers.

yeah just got to pay shipping and duty if you get one from the states. Long story short, and as I said previously, I HIGHLY recommend them.
