My first was a 1969 an F-100. This one is about 1/2 the size of the older one. Bought this one, was not in as good a shape as we thought... 113k on the clock that was not working. Immediately changed the timing belt, replaced the worm gear in the odometer. Had to replace the "loudest muffler made"(quote from the muffler shop).
Mods; has short headers, that sound good with the stock replacement muffler. Cool air k&n filter and intake. Tires are 225/70 -15" which are messing up the speedo. a CD radio.
Ordered Autolite XP104s and wires, seems wimpy when crusin', hope these will help. Looked at the current plugs, XP104s and they are a little worn, will post pics when I get the job done. No idea how many miles on the old ones.
