On the upside it disappeared in the afternoon/evening of Good Friday. Odds are the thief wasn't able to scrap/junk it yet.

Also, most places want a title to take a car as scrap because they can get in big trouble if it turns up stolen.

Go to all the scrap yards, tell them about your truck being stolen. Tell them to call you or the cops if it comes in.

In Indiana as long as the body is removed from the frame--or the subframes are removed from the body, you don't need any paperwork. It's just scrap metal. The just tell you to dump the frames and axles in the chopper pile and the body in the shredder pile. You weigh again on your way out and go sit in the office and wait for your money.
