Hey guys,
I have been making my ranger into a but of a toy and figured I should post up some puctures and explane what is going on.
I bought a used 1996 2wd extneded cab ranger XLT with a 5 spped manual. A plain a boring truck but it has power windows locks and all that too so I was happy. It has 260 xxx KM on it.
Not bad but needed some fixing up and love.
First thing I did was take it too my shop and change the oil and air filter. Switced over to synthetic oil too.
So what was next? The truck had a 4.0 and 3.08 gears and that meant it was slow as hell but got more acceptable gas mileage but i think a 3.08 is too tall for the 4.0. So I swapped in a 3.73 with a L/S to help get around in the snow
