I received an Ultra-Gauge for Christmas for the truck and couldnt be happier. I love this thing. I have never used a scangauge, but this thing looks so much better with the bigger display and all. very easy to use as well.

I still need to calibrate my mpg as our trucks do not have fuel sensors. It did confirm my Speedo is off 3mph. it is almost dead on with my GPS in mph which also shows my speedo to be 3 mph hour slow.

Another good thing is the fact it has a code reader/clearer. not bad for $76 shipped to the house.

only thing i need to do right now is route my wire behind the A-Pillar plastic.

For those of you interested see below

ULTRA-GAUGE

OK I finally got tired of the effing wire getting in my way so I put on the old headlight and hid the wire behind the A pillar plastic.

I've seen these over on FRF... they seem to be well liked over there, where does the thing plug into?

the OBD II port. it powers off and on with the vehicle. it connects to your computer

Ah, gotcha, that is the one that is facing towards the driver correct?

When you talk about calibrating your MPG, do you just input your average MPG into the Ultra Gauge?

no you fill up the tank drive till empty, fill up again and put in how much gas you used. and yes its the plug directly center of steering wheel at bottom of dash. for those with bigger tires, you can calibrate distance as well so that your mphs and all are correct by using mile markers. choose a distance in the gauge, drive it using mile markers.

do they make them for obd1? id love to have one of those in my truck.
