my new toy, the bronco goes into the shop this weekend for the strip down and rebuild. should have the old girl all done up some time in the spring

Things going into the bronco

289 small block
d44 axles with lockers
6 inch lift
chop top with enclosed cab
full frame off restore
bush wacker flares
custom interior
thinking about a 1 piece hinged hood

Is it just me or do those wheels and tires look plastic, as well do others I've seen, where did you find a tonka truck big enough?

You mean GoodYear right?

I think that those are good looking rigs gone 4 wheeling with them and they do real well but those guys had a lot of money in them too. There real popular here and like you said what else is there thats small and serious 4x4 you can do any thing to them if your checking account can take it.

eewwww. its a jeep.

I couldn't afford anything that new so i guess its good.

oh shit ford traitor and it had to be jeep lol but nice jeep though!!!

never thought i would buy a jeep! i do like the looks of them but i have been a ford man all my life,
I orderd my B2 in november of 86, and it's been a great truck i have looked after it. and it has aways got me home. But the old girl needs a break and a rebuild. So i started shopping around for a new 4x4. So my first stop was a couple ford dealers! But the selection for a small SUV from ford is next to nothing. Escape, all frill and fluff, with no balls, i looked at the ranger pickups, sharp looking well made but a truck in not much use for me.

So the jeep was the best choice, And a rubicon becuase it comes with d44 axels, lockers front and rear, sway bar disconnects, 31x10.50 rubber,
ultra-low-geared NV241 Rock-Trac transfer case. ratio of 2.27:1
and a pile of other out of the box toys.

I wish ford would have got the new bronco out, with some top notch off road goodies. that would have been in my driveway.........

Its a heep well i guess you could paint it ford blue lol looks good though for a heep you will be afraid to get it muddy

i have seen lots of them take more abuse, then i will ever give it.
And things i have learned over the years, if your hard on something no matter how well it's built your going to break it., That stock d28 has been under the front of my bronco since i have owned it and never broke it..
