Nice looking bike.I saw the miles and thought you must be someplace warm.Have fun.

Man! that bike is good for the open road!!!!!!

Thanks it is great to ride on the open road, it stays ride-able spring summer and fall here even winter depending on what gear you have.

my only problem is my friends who I go riding with most of the time have sport bikes, and a 750( or any cruiser) can't keep pace with them.

we hit an open stretch and i opened up the throttle all the way(from a stop) and by the time i was going 55-60 my friend came up beside me let on the gas popped a wheelie and ended up doing around to 130, i made it just above 90 before i had to let off for the turn ahead.

not to mention my foot pegs are scraping the ground long before they even come close.

but I like it.
and definitely out preforms the old 3.0
not to mention 50+ mpg and $10 fill-ups

The gas mileage is great on bikes. I have a sport bike (gsxr 600) but I used to ride the v-star 650 my dad had and loved it. Cruisers are really comfortable on long rides. But if your friends won't wait for you, I'd find new people to ride with lol. 130 on public roads is not smart.

Nice! my dad has a shadow sabre. I personally ride a 07 CBR600RR when i get the chance to. Welcome to the bike world!

they do wait for me they were just goofing off, even though sometimes it seems like they forget that i cant turn like they do, but that's understandable most of their riding is with other sportbikes. Riding with more experienced riders with better handling bikes does help improve my skill on the shadow and to learn my limits before i'm forced into a bad situation where i need the skill.
