I've heard that a remake of dune is in the works.

When my buddy told me I thought he said a remake of DOOM and got excited, just to be let down -__-

I hope they do a remake, the 84 Dune was a crappy movie loosely based on a good book. Actually a series of good books.

Ever read heart of darkness? It's the loose basis of apocalypse now.... the book is better, but also watch the documentary "hearts of darkness" about the filming of apocalypse now. It's insane. The entire cast of the movie was high, drunk, and on opium the entire time and half the crazy scenes were real... Marlon Brando almost died lol

Google search told me what that is, I'd seen it before but forgot. When I see it, it makes me imagine the cheat code interface for a prehistoric (or at least pre-modern) magic based game console. I know kind of stupid considering the real origin.
