My little Iron Ranger {Part 2}

I like :D Very good job if only I had the money to do something like that. :beer::beer:

What you need is "time". See, over time, you aquire a little amount of money to start a project like this. The more you can do yourself, the better!

I have the same problem with my wheels...I just painted my spindle and dustcap real nice to go with the hubcap. It takes A LOT MORE than a 1/4" to clear, and you can't really space out that far on our trucks because mustang wheels stick out a little bit as it is.

How did they look with the caps on them?

Imagine if you will......

i haven't had the caps on yet, those will be the last thing to go on when the truck is done, just to cut down on the risk of having to take them off again and chipping them or something.

I see. I think you'll be pleased, because I put mine on with new grease caps and it turns out that a scuffed up new cap is the EXACT color of the rim/cap. :icon_thumby: And I must say, it doesn't look bad at all.

Semi-update! Found out that I had a leak in the radiator and I thought it was from one of my outlet tubes I welded:shok:, but it turns out it was worse than that. The very top cooling tube was leaking at the solder joint at the outside corner.:annoyed: Not a very big leak, more of a "squeaker", but a leak nonetheless. And to make it worse, none of my welding skills/technology could fix it if I wanted to.

So I had to use the worst thing a welder regrets..........water JB weld.:bawling: I packed that puddy into that tube corner and I hope that "seals" the deal. Anyone?........Anyone? :icon_rofl:

All I got left are the pass. side exhaust hangers and some amber bulbs, re-adjust the lower driving lights, and top off the fluids.

Should be all done this weekend......... :icon_bounceblue::yahoo:

What's this?? A piece of aluminum that you can't weld?? What the hell :icon_confused:
Oh, and by the way...

Ah, ah, ah.....:secret: Pics will come, but only after I'm finished.

Not saying I couldn't weld it, but it's a whole lot easier to do it this way. Because I know I'd destroy the radiator tube. A $3 JB tube vs. a $400 radiator.........yeah, I'll go the JB route.

Funny.....I work for a radiator company and I gotta resort to this...:shok::icon_twisted:

And as I recall SVT, you still owe me installation pics of the canister...... :D

:D I owe them to SVT and myself too!! I still have a lot to do, and my new rear axle will be delivered saturday, so I have quite a bit to do, but the plan is to get the hydroboost and the reservoir at least bolted in next week (even though I have said that a couple times now..) I still need to get the hydraulic lines made, which is the main reason they are not in right now...
