5.5 rubicon express springs, R.E. long arm kit for a tj, Dana 35 with 4.88 gears. 33 inch BFG mudders.
I still need to do the back of the truck, Im thinking Chevy leafs. If you have a better idea let me know please. Thanks for looking :beer:

Very clean truck!!! Try the 6400 shackles, it will flex much better and give you a couple inches of lift.
 
Thanks, what are the 6400 shackles and where would i find them???? I would like to put some other leafs in

They are Chevy drop shackles. I got mine from Baxters Auto parts for like $65. They are made by Beltech and they are #6400. They are a direct bolt on.
 
yep I just put em on the rear of mine and they are the shit
 
What are you guys using for rear leafs, I want to change mine out. The passenger rear sags and I would like to get rid of the blocks. I was told chevy half ton 58 inch springs would work
 
fr34 skyjacker lift springs(4") with belltech shackles= 6" I ran ranger blocks then slightly smaller f150 blocks but it certainly flexes better without them and with the shackles.
these skyjacker springs are pricey though id check out the chebby springs
 
Chevy 1/2 ton springs are 63" which requires the front spring hanger to moved forwards 6". I'm running them on my 91 ranger, and I can tell you the flex and ride gains are well worth the work of installing them.
 
If your hell bent on doing springs dont waste your money with skyjackers. Jet 3" Trai-Gear yota springs, they will give you about 5-6" and are a direct bolt in. and are alot less expensive and I think better quality. Im running 5" ones and they ride great and flex amazing. http://trail-gear.com/leafsprings.html You can either run thier 18mm bolts and drill out your spring hanger ans shackle or press your old metal sleeves into the new bushings and run the factory bolts. When doing this lots of lube is your friend.

How much lift did you get? I am looking for about 5-6 inches
 
A stock set of chevy springs will get you about 2-3" if they are in good shape, mine are bagged out so i'm runningan extended shackle with mine and the stock 4x4 block.

This year i'm probably going to step it up to a set of 3" lift chevy springs.
 
omg thats cool im about ready to do the same thing but with 9" lift xj coil and a 4 link rear. and i hope that it will sit level when its done. :icon_thumby:
