my junk

how did you mount the jeep coils in the ranger coil bucket?

I cut the buckets out of a xj Cherokee and welded them to my mounts. worked good

The springs are from Rubicon Express and cost about 170 for both I will take some pics off the buckets and post them

I got a set of Skyjacker 6" XJ springs. I'm looking for a pic of how you fabbed in the XJ bump stops...

What I did is took the xj spring perches and cut them out of the jeep, all you need is the perch. I bent up all the tabs for the stalk spring and pounded on the stalk perch till the xj perch sat how I wanted. I only tacked it in and installed everything to make sure it was were I wanted it. I know its not perty but it looks better now.

ok i have some ? how did you line the axle up from stock, and did you ues the same driveshaft, and what did you used for the crossmember. i am doint the same thing to my truck i got the new axle in and im trying to get it lined up and the driveshaft keeps coming apart. need help

I would forget about the driveshaft for now you will have to have one made longer, and get the axel under the truck. I put the arms on the axel and slid it under the truck and looked at it for a few hours figuring out where I want it to sit. If you use the same arms I did you will have to do some fab to the cross member. I wish I could help with the cross member but Im still figuring mine out. I did find that a Cherokee drive line will bolt up its just not long enough. Good luck... and keep me posted

ok well can you messaure the arms for me center bolt hole to the other so i have an idea what to make, and fot a cross member i used a peice of square tubing and drill 3 hole on each side then i mounted it and i used angle iron to make like a v shape to hold the transmission up.

If you are building the arms then you can make them however you want. You could avoid changing the cross member just by making the arms longer. If you can build the arms then you have one up on me, I cant weld for sh**. If I could I would have built the arms longer then I wouldnt have to screw with the trany crap!!! Move the axel were you want it to sit and mesure for your lenth for your arms, then take and bolt the y link to the axel and stick it there. Dam I wish I could have built my arms, that would have made things much easier!!!
