My idea of a Shelby Ranger if there would have been one.

Now enough of this suspense, why not TELL what parts you got, hmmmmmmmm??

Ok cause you can't wait.. Got the poor mans Cobra R wheels off Ebay coming.
A chrome Alternator to play with the polished intake. Cobra R center caps, and the upper and lower ball joints..

Half ass hooked up the heaters in the seats last night.. All I got was blinking lights when I pressed the button.. Looks like no heated seats... Not that I need them I just thought it would be cool in a 1990 Ranger..

Yep.. I believe I can...

Hmm... That has got to be an error code of some sort. Maybe phone up Mopar and see what the Crossfire service manual says causes that.

^^^This.
I was going to suggest that, but he beat me to it. Haha!

And all them new parts sound delicious! I can't wait to see the new wheels on there, what are you running as far as rubber goes?

I can't wait to see them too.. Not sure about the rubber yet.. I have no idea what size will fit with it lowered... the backs are 17X10.5" and the fronts are 17x9"... Going to shoot for cheap but decent tires...

I did read that the Crossfire seat heaters were notorious for not working...
I may throw an after market seat heater in them later on... :dunno:

They only blink by holding down the switch... It will blink till you let go... I will investigate further over the weekend...

UPS came today!!

Not sure if Shelby would have put one of these on but I sure am!!

Shiny, any update on the seat heaters? I sent a quick email off to my buddy with a Crossfire, he'll check the owner's manual. He is an expert when it comes to those cars.

No updates Mike.. I didn't get to work on the truck much over the weekend.

Really the only thing I got done was the fuseblock mounted and wired in for the seats. Drivers side is done as far as movement.. Also installed the window on the passenger side... Nothing really productive.. Oh and found out why the blower fan was making a bad roaring sound and not putting out much air..
Mice built a nest from insulation in the fan... packed it tight around it.... I apreciate any info on the heated seats but from what I read those things suck in the CrossFires...

That alternator is awfully shiny! It'll look good under there for sure, go perfect with that dang ol' intake, too!

I hope so.. If I hadn't polished the intake I would have stuck with the factory alternator..On the plus side this one is 110 amps... I would think the Factory is 70 or so.
