Just found this section on here and thought id share my honcho.

A lot done to it but not a blingy build..Used some old school know how and some selective upgrades to improve its performance..Its been a wonderful performer for me.

Nice looking Honcho, I wish I could swing one sometime.

Do you have a buildsheet on it?

I can give you some more details on it of you want.

Custom Trinity based 27T motor...(Home built)
Stock Axial ESC (made by castle creations)
Hitec HS985MG sterring servo.
Stock Axial Radio and receiver.
Robinson Racing lightweight motor pinion (16T)
Kimbrough 87T machined spur gear
Aluminum motor plate/heat sink
Motor Heat sink
Home made front and rear suspension links (converted front to 4 link)
Level 3 aluminum rear truss
STRC front steering link..Home made upper drag link
Custom Losi comp shocks (limited to 93mm length)..Losi 1.8lb springs
Custom Shock pistons.
Axial beadlock wheels
Proline Flat-iron tires (1.9)
Integy Universal front axles
Improved turning radius
Improved articulation
Improved Center of gravity
Fully balanced left to right front to rear.
Home made anti squat brackets
Home made upper shock mounts.

Im sure I left out a few things but that's about it..Everything was to improve actual performance and didn't care about spending a fortune on it for high dollar name brand stuff...Its really a very capable rig right out of the box but as most men do ,they cant leave well enough alone...lol

Cool, I think it would be fun making your own parts for it.

I have a few ideas for making links out of steel, aluminum or carbon fiber... hard to test without a truck though.
