The back hatch on my B2 is dirty.
Black, black black DIRTY.

the side with the tire, less so.

back glass? completely obscured.

i can wash the truck, wax it, thing is shiny clean perfect, four/five days later, covered in black shit.

Why does this happen? am i losing fluids somewhere and having them blow back onto the hatch as the come out the back of the truck?

does anybody else have this problem?

mine was always the opposite - no matter how dirty the rest of the truck was, the hatch never seemed to get nearly as bad

Same here. The only time I had anything on the back hatch is when I had an oil leak, I would suggest looking under the truck for any evidence of a leak somewhere. Anything leaking, oil, trans. fluid, rearend grease, brake fluid, etc, will always collect on the back hatch.

If your is that bad, there should be obvious signs of a leak somewhere underneath. :shok:

B2

And b2 addict aka allen would no......... his "rear end" is a dirty dirty place.

and there we go, the A4 leaks, slowly, but it leaks, and my driver's side valve cover leaks slowly as well.

lovely, any way i can stop the buildup without fixing the leaks?

as a matter of principle, i refuse to put more money into the A4 since when it goes i'll have an excuse to drop in an M5

reminds me of the "fast and furious" cars around here.. there whole back bumper would be plack from all the oil there burning. so thats probably your case

not burning a drop of oil actually.

Many of those cars are just burning too rich due to missing/disconnected o2 sensors from their rocking exhaust installs.
