It happened when it was raining. Thought it was the heater core because it didn't just sprinkle it looked like someone literally dumped a pitcher of water in the floor. Cleaned iyup and looked at the heater core and nothing. It did it again yesterday and I don't know why. Its alittle irritating. Is it the rain coming from the cowl? Or what I'm stuck on which way to go so help is really appreciated.

Sounds like the cowl finally gave way to me...our first gens are known for it. I would sit inside during the next rain or run a hose into the cowl and see what happens. If its leaking, let us know where you see it.

My truk leaks and its from the cowl. I have to remove my dash to get to mine.

That sucks. I work at a Jeep dealer and have to deal with a ton of water leaks. I hate them. Throw a hose up on the cowl and check for water inside. Someone may know better than me but there may be drains for the water that gets in the cowl. If there are check and see if they are plugged with debris.

I believe water gets I through the seam where the cowl meets the firewall. I think they only used caulking. Is your headliner wet at all? What about behind the seats?

I don't have a headliner in my truck. But the floor gets wet up to where the seat is.ill check and see where its coming from.

Mine leaks at the top right corner of the windshield. It's done it for years but recently has gotten alot worse. I think it's time for a new windshield!

Darn, I guess I have been very very lucky all theses years with all my trucks and Jeeps. I never had this happen. A few friends told me that the cowel was the most commom place to get a water leak. I don't know anybody who had one. Is the water pooling right up under the dash area on one side more then the other? No leakes near the glovebox area?

I just pulled the A post trim pieces off of mine & noticed that the water is soaking through at the bottom of the windshield. I think that after 20+ years the adhesive is shot. Could also explain why some say it's leaking from the cowl.

Glad you found the leak. Clean it up and re-seal the area with a good sealent, Bro!!!

I though I had a leak in my cowling. So cleaned it out, lots of junk in there. Made sure it drain well.
I ended up spraying undercoat in there to seal it all up.
It ended up being somewere between my piller and windsheld. Really anoying as I had it replaced a few years back.
