my custom 88 b2

ya i thought about that.....and its kind of what i was leaning tward...but i just wanted to see what other ppl came up with.

i have not got to start doing any work yet but i thought i just thought i would let you all know what i had planed...

3'' body lift... i was going for 2'' but i thought what the hell.
poly cab bushings
new shocks Rancho RS5000
new rubber Mastercraft Courser MT 30x9.5R15
new ball joints...uppers and lowers
electric fan
new dual exhaust... not shure what mufflers to use yet

thats it for now.... later on she may get a small suspension lift but im not 100% shure on that yet...

good news..... i got my student disbersment check today....i will be starting work this week as soon as the parts arrive....:icon_welder:

whats a disbersment check?

Looking forward to watching your build. Have considered going bigger than 30" tires? Might look kinda small with a 3" body lift.

whats a disbersment check?

its the left over from my student loan.... about 5500

im not shure...now about the size of the body lift...because every time i talk to someone they try to get me to change my mind.... ie my dad, my father in law, my brother, my best friend..... they keep ****in with my head.... i dont know bout the tire size yet either... my father in law says dont go bigger then 235's my dad said 30's my brother is a dumbass.... he said 35's.... so i dont know what to do!!!! but i did order a total poly bushing kit today from suspension connection..... im gonna try to make up my mind tonight on what body lift to go with so i can go ahead and order it.... in excited to get this project started!!!!:headbang::headbang:

go with 31's and a 2" body lift. It will look good without a suspension lift

I don't get it, they just give you the left over then you have to pay it back?? That's kinds dumb to spend it on that stuff or even take it if you don't need it.....sorry, just my 30 years of experience has taught me better.

a name??? Wingnut wally . its a guys nickname at work

for an aditional note they nicknamed me kevlar (from Kevin R.)
so that's what we call my garage kevlar kreations

im only spending about 1100 the rest goes in the bank.... ill need it for next quarter.....

id go 2" BL and 30x9.50s, just because youll keep your CG lower and the overall weight of your wheels and tires will be less, although youll still be looking at around 60-65 lbs a piece. whats your gear ratio right now?
