Well, it was that time of year when the guys here at L&M Radiator organize an ATV trip. This year it was up at Lost Lake National Park(MN) and the weather couldn't be better.
My weapon of choice is my dad's Grizzly 660 with Carlile swamp-somethings(27")
My brother brought his Grizzly 700 w/Powersteering and 28" tall tires. A few others had grizzlies also, some Polarises and one Honda with a mouse nest in the air box.
Couldn't figure out why it kept dying, and there it was, a nest in the air box.
Here's my dad's:
Some good ol' Minnesota swamp mud.
This poor gal either died or shut it off a 3rd of the way across. Guys were more than willing to help. After it was out of the water, it took the guys almost an hour to get it started again. Dumped about a gallon of water out of the exhaust pipe.
Here's another guy's Griz 700 (almost same specs as my brother's). Of course, nothing can stop the almighty Grizzly!!

What I looked like after the crossing, not as muddy as what it was.
I took this too late, the outlander behind the Honda just pulled him out when he dove in up to the headlights and got stuck.
What I looked like at the end. The old man was staring at me saying "Soap and water bucket is in the garage, it better look like it did before you left."
It does.
Here's the bro's 700. 2wd almost the whole time. Very impressive.
What a blast!!
