Some sort of skid plate between the frame horns.

Something like this maybe:

i need those too haha, but i was meaning more like fabrication or dress up to it. like some diamond plate or customizing of the bumper its self.

@Jester:
thats what i was thinking, but the support i would attach it to has one side longer then the other. and i feel if i did attach it to that, it would look as if it was not big enough maybe?

It need something in the middle in my opinion, like 3 vertical support bars to fill in the gap with lights in between them. Just my input.

i would put a couple bars between the upper "hoop" and the main "Bumper" it looks weird with nothing there

Maybe even put the vertical bars at an angle for some flair? Looks like it has potential so far.

angled? i never thought of that...
after the bumper is done, comes paint. i already ordered some 2010 camaro senergy green paint for the bumper, very excited.

and another question comes up, my lift is uneven. the ass end of my truck sits about an inch or an inch and half lower than where it should be. i put the lift on myself but i couldn't have done anything to mess it up that much, could i?

with that bumper just leave it like that. i think it looks good. my nose is an inch higher than my ass and the front of my truck is higher than the back too :icon_rofl:

p.s. i made the front higher than the rear on purpose... dont judge me...

here is my bumper

i like what you did with that bumper, the loop going down, but my bumper is welded to the frame, i cant take it off cause i dont have the tools to do it.
do you think it would be smarter to weld some tubing down to the support right below the radiator and then skid plate that, but just run tubing down from the bumper and not connect it to the support at all?

no, you should leave the support alone. just weld a skid plate sized hoop going down and weld supports going to the frame.

just what i would do... p.s. i dndt make the bumper, i picked it up off of craigslist for 30 bux. and he delievered it.

sounds like a plan :D
although it i do just the loop for the skid plate, would it make the sides look like it needs something? (red circles in picture)
