Here is my budget bronco. Ive built it over the last month for less then $1000 and all it needs to be finished is to finish up the bumpers and add some scratches and more trail dents.

specs are: dana 35 with lockright in the front and a welded explorer rear. superrunner steering kit 6" lift with extended radius arms, add a leafs, block, and shackles to lift the rear. 33x13.50 tsl's on 15x8 black steelies. Swapped to a fm146 tranny and 4.0 clutch.

I'll give you a run for your money I am at 800 with the last purchase of $ 220 for 10 sections 21 ft long of 1 5/8 tubing almost have my exo cage done and 45 the rear but I still have stock axles.

hmm well in that case I didnt subtract the $200 I got from selling the lift I was given with the bronco or the $150 I got for the auto shit that came out. If my math is right that puts me well under you!

I know but I got 36's on mine and my next move is beadlocks then transfer case doubler you got a nice looking project I was looking to keep mine under 1500 so thats my goal people should know that they can be built for cheap

Bought my B2 for $100, lift was $300, tires $375, and already had winch and all metal for bumpers left over from previous projects:icon_hornsup:

alright guys.... it don't matter whose e-penis is bigger...
guess what? i've probably got more money in mine-- and it still has a d28 ttb! now what??? :icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

point is- nice build! budget builds are great.. i like keeping up w/ them.

:icon_rofl:That reminds me $250 for the D35 and Xploder 8.8:icon_rofl:

Im about done spending money on this thing. all i need is some fab parts and some axle joints and it should be ready for a little beating.
