my buddy wasted a exploder with...

so my buddy and his gf live in the same trailer park as 4 of my other friends. i go to pick one of them up and i see brian (said friend) takeing his gf out in his new to him 76 3/4 cammoed chevy p/u. i wave and go on about my morning. 20 mins later my friend gabby get a call from her mom.....


i just watch brian and shannon totall brians truck! i hop in the car and beat it 20mins down the road to find EMTS,Police,and Fire all over... my heart sank. i hope he didnt roll it.

i park and book it 400 yards to see them both beain put on backboards.

heres what he were told, brian was doing the speed limit (55mph) going west. a 98ish white ford exploder was going east, she did not use a single and didnt even stop, while she attempted to flip a bi*** she met with the the 3/4 chev at 55mph.

brian and shannon didnt even have time to touch the breaks. the exploders 4.0 is sitting part way through the firewall. his truck has the front D60 and everything fold up under the truck,tacoing both rims,and sheering the bed bolts casuseing the bed to smash into the cab. they were not wearing seat belts.

shannons head met the windsheild spider webbing it. her knees literally crushed the dash stoping her from going through the windsheild.

brian bit a hole through his lip causeing him to get stiches, they boths are cut up,bruised battered and sore but are doing just fine..

one of the EMT'S that took shannon to the ER was a classmate of mine and brians in highschool.

well after they got checked out a cop wanted to talk to them. the women who pulled out infront of them had her inshurence expire in sept 09! lets just say a lawer is involved

its been a long day but i WILL get pics and vids of the truck and of the carnage to them. they both had angles lookin out for them

1998 explorer / no insurance / dumb driving = BROKE ASS person at fault for the accident, yea you can sue her ass off and even get a huge judgment in your favor BUT odds are they will never get a dime out of her ( why ? ) because she has none and never will have much more then her living expenses.

If she is smart ( which I doubt ) she will file for bankruptcy after she gets her butt sued and then she is protected by federal law to NEVER pay off the judgment against her.

Yea that sucks for your friends for sure but I bet that is how it will go down.

I hope they heal fast and hopefully they had ( un-insured - insurance )

KICK.HER.ASS. multuple times for being an idiot. no kidding the chevy being a good old american made battle tank probably saved both their lives. i was in a wreck riding in a 95 ex cab 4x4 ranger back in july and rolled over twice after a lady clipped our trucks tail. no seatbelt i was being dumb, short trip a mile down the road is still a trip put the thing on. we ended up drivers doors down on the trucks side and i had to kick the front window out to get out. after rolling and bouncing each time the truck hit the ground at 50 the body was totaled but the structural integrity of the cab held up saving OUR lives as well. i count the trucks being well built in both cases as saving lives. a car would have probably folded up on us after taking a tumble like that

Yeah that sucks... I'm glad they are ok, but thats just downright stupid not to where a seatbelt, they would have probably walked away with minor cuts and scratches with the seatbelts on. And that lady was DUMB too I run into idiot all the time like that they just turn or start to turn. I have to flash and honk to get them to realize theres a car coming.

What is with this epidemic of ranger accidents as of late???

hate to hear that........ i have full coverage on my 04, hope nothing ever happens in the 97, it's got liability. Kentucky Farm Beurea really takes care of their ins customers. And for 150 bucks a month total...... I'm pretty happy. I add my Camaro in the summertime for 26dollars a month.
