i'm working on that link still lol. i'm on page 17... lol

heat sucks. but hey, i'm in MS, we don't have springs either. so whatever! i just deal. i got 2 6 foot fans.. so i deal
 
The first page of the link was enough for me. I will say that if I was building a rig for that kind of offroading, jumping, etc...it would have to be TTB.
 
no doubt... that's the way to go.

so after my subs sell, i'm gonna have about $900 to finish my 8.8 swap (shocks is only thing i need) and to do my d35 build and swap.

so if i make my brackets-- (free)
extend my stock arms...w/ joints-- dom-no clue($80ish??), not sure size i need yet /joints-80
hubs-- JY price around $20ish probably
gears-- hopefully i find a used set! around $75-100
steering-- hopefully keep it around $200
shock towers-- already bought
shocks -- no clue again
custom sway disconnects-- CHEAP! lol
coil springs were free!

what else? so what i'm trying to figure a price on, i'm at like $500 plus some odds and ends...

and no, i'm not planning on locking the front yet. not till after tires and winch! winch will be a SB 8k steel cable one. btw...
 
unfortunatly its all the nickle and dime shit that ends up being the most $.

i do have manual hubs off my 97 ext cab that is now gone still but i figure the shipping from here to there would be the same as your junkyard
 
yeah... shipping sucks! lol

and yeah, i know that small stuff will kill you.. always does!

ujoints, bearings, crap here and there, thingamiggers that go over yonder... dang! lol
 
Thats ALL I saw in that thread was money.

Shocks for my truck after the SAS were $100 for 2 of them, so I have $200 in shocks on my truck alone. I used summits search tool thing that helps you find what you need buy clicking on what your application needs and then you go from there on what they have. I t really worked out nice for me.

My SAS alone costed $1500. Now include the other things such as the tires, rims, and the engine swap, that has put me over $3000 and Im not yet done yet. Need to go update my cost list now.....
 
lol wait till you get to the end of that thread and he converts the steering again. full hydro steering but still aa k link i think.

what about the style of steering thats on aaron c truck? swing set

JY trip time! Lol even tho it's not for me. Going to help my dad. But I'm gonna scope out the explorers. See what I can find.

it really seems like the best option to me unless you go the way that legoms did (but even then i think this would be simpler)

its hard to see but theres actually 2 bars comming off the pitman arm, you box in the pitman arm like kyle M did."

so then one car comes off that to the passenger knuckle following the same plane as the passenger beam and the 2nd bar that came off goes horizontal to a swinger on the passenger side framerail then from there to the drivers side beam.

plus it looks all fancy for your shows lol
 
Well there's no manual hubs on our JY lot. And only 4.10 gears were a ifs standard cut. The 8.8 disc brake with 4.10's would be nice. Lol. I already have one...
 
Well like I said if you can't find any closer I do have some..
 
Check the approx price on shipping. See what's going on. I'll keep checking more locally
 
so i'll have hubs coming soon. Kris' ranger will live on as a part of my b2. lol
my shock towers will be in Tuesday
 
lol ill get them boxed up today and sent out tommorow after work.

yea it sucks all i have left of that truck is the exhaust tips that are on my f150 and the grille/hedder panel/headlights..... one day it will be re-made the way i was about to do my 97
