Go for it.

I'm to broke right now.. I can barely afford to buil the b2. But later I think I might!

well CEL is back on. computer gives me the air charge temp sensor. i cleaned it... but, it came back on. might just buy one tomorrow and see what happens

Yet another reason I hate fuel injection.

ordered a sensor. decided to try a NON autozone one. i've had nothing but trouble out of the zone recently. the sensor will be in at 2. so only an hour away lol
got a new pcv valve, there's a lot of oil in my intake, i've gotta figure out why. i'm gonna get some intake cleaner and throttle body cleaner and try to get it cleaned out tomorrow.

just got the word that the superrunner kit i'm getting is off the truck and can be shipped out within the next few days!!! that's one more part down! and i think the biggest expense on a single item down.

now if i could just find some 4.10's for a d35 ttb used, NOT the whole pig lol. if i don't find just gears i'm gonna order the pig that one of the guys here has for sale. gears for a d35 ttb are just outrageously priced.

got some of this, i've never used a seafoam product before in my life but its highly recommended by a ton of people so... we'll see. the tube goes in the throttle body to almost touch butterfly, then you put the air tube (from the filter box) back on to hold the straw in place. spray it for 2-3 mins with rpm's 500-1000 above idle. then return to idle, shut off motor. remove straw. let sit for 5 mins then restart. then it says road test and drive aggressively to remove any remaining carbon

idk, i'll post up on my thoughts about it once i'm done, i'll do it tomorrow

Seafoam is good, I use the other seafoam, where you pull a vacuum line off and let it pull about 1/4 of the can into the intake, and when it starts fogging, turn the engine off and let it sit for awhile, pour the rest in to the tank, always works good for me.

i thought about the other stuff. but was told by several to try this stuff first. so i'm gonna try it. i'll see what happens. i gotta find out why theres so much oil in my intake. its not BAD, its just coating my air charge temp sensor and getting in my IAC, making it do weird things

so far, i've cleaned my intake. let me say the seafoam stuff works great. my truck idles A LOT better now. i like it. only downfall is, you can't spray it steady like they say you can at 500-1000 rpms above idle. b/c the truck doesn't drink it all. it backs up into your air tube, and leaks on you belt.... making the belt sqeak. so i cleaned my belt and pulleys. when i had my air tube off, i noticed my battery has rubbed a hole in my tube, so i put some silicone on that. also i changed my pcv valve and my air charge temp sensor. now to get it all back together to see what it does..

also, I ORDERED MY SUPERRUNNING KIT!!! YAY!! lol. it should be shipped today. ordered it used from a guy on here for a great price! found out my vms bracket was shipped. so parts are coming in!!

well b/c of this thread,

i got curious.

i've had my truck for 8 years and never knew those dang things lock. but since i have the original door locks still, i tried it. sure enough, THEY LOCK! not that it really matters but..... its freaking cool! lol

unlocked, only turns clockwise w/out the key in it

locked, put key in turn counter clockwise and its locked, won't turn either way w/out the key

for my day of work here's 2 pics
the intake cleaner says 500-1000 rpms above idle, how does one person do this and spray the cleaner???
trucker trick!

I just hold the throttle open with one hand and spray with the other.

I just hold the throttle open with one hand and spray with the other.

If the straw would have staying in the bottle-- that would have worked. But everytime I sprayed- it blew the straw out.

And it takes almost 4-5 mins to do that. So why hold the throttle steady with my left hand that long? WORK SMART NOT HARD!

My brain would have said "get the duct tape". Ya I keep a roll of it in the truck at all times.

except gears, i think i could stab the d35 under my truck before the fall run. even if i still use the drop brackets i have now (minus the axle pivot bracket).

i'd have the RC sway bar drops which i won't have connected at the part anyways and the RA drop brackets... might even still have the rc coils and shocks.. idk, it depends on how much time i have to do the upgrades. i just need to find some used gears. junkyard hunting time one day this week.

Look up the price on National Drivetrain website. The price on there for the Motive gear set is the price I can get it at. They are already cheaper than anyone else for the Motive brands. Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner. Working nights sucks and don't have time to do anything but sleep.
