Hello all, I hope you enjoy my new big truck. It is a 93 explorer 4dr 4x4. Just did oil pump, front cover, timing chain and gear set, intake gaskets etc. Installed a "custom" 6" suspension lift consisting of bds brackets and coils, skyjacker shocks drop pitman and brake lines. Used MORE spring perches and shock mounts to convert rear to spring over.

Also converted from the a4ld to a m50d. Electric to manual tranfer case.

WOW, that is one of the cleanest looking EX's I have ever seen. Looks really good. What is the offset on those wheels?

wow that does look really good, Nice ex! I wish my camber was that good looking! I have toe out like mad...err

Thanks for all the props guys. I think those wheels are either 4" or 4.5" BS. They aren't mine, bfgs are on backorder. It has its problems with paint and rust, but not as bad as some of the other explorers. If i told you how much i got that for you would think i stole the truck. And btw, rolled over 230,000 miles today.

Thats a good looking explorer. Good to see others wheelin in them.

Had to change the wheel cylinder on the left rear today. After that tried out the flex a little.

Definitely a lot further up the ramp than my 88 b2. Last night put a hole in my tow strap. Gonna go to the junkyard this weekend to find new seats.

this is why i love seeing full fendered trucks, if the fenders were hacked out on this rig it would look half as good

looks really good dude it will look even better when it's all covered in mud i bet that thing will do awsome in some wet dirty stuff

thanks again guys.

OffroadX - what became of yours? Last i saw you had 37" boggers and no fenders.

I'm definetly going to have to upgrade to the Skyjacker pivots not to far down the road. I have one extra 3.73 front pumpkin and thats it.

So far everything is working great. Drives nice, shifts nice, and while mom says it leans over too far during turns, i think it still feels pretty stable for as big and heavy as it is.

Hope to go to Brimstone, Tenn. on Memorial weekend. Might get a local run in before then, just to test the beast out. The bumpers have to get hacked a little cause i need tow hooks on it next.
