you done a sweet job friend, good work

no, they are broken.

... How do you break a ball joint? Well i know how but usually the knuckle doesnt stay all nice and connected to the truck

is your top Bj loose ?

looks like it. seems that the nut is backing off

balljoints broke from the shafts jarring together. it breaks the housings, then the balls just sit in the cups.

I pulled the entire knuckle/wheel off, pulled the inner shaft out, then put it back in and set it down, and drove out.

What degree shims are you using up front? And what is your caster angle?

Never noticed you asked this, sorry mang.

7* shims, and I cant remember my castor angle. No issues though.

Thanks I am using a kingpin axle and our setups aren't identical but I figured it would give me some what of a reference point.

i sent you a pm about some oil

you know....that fawking thing wouldnt break so much if you would get rid of the v8 and put the 2.8 back in there:thefinger:

just think..if you had king pins you would need a whole knuckle instead:icon_rofl:......lets see you drive out on a knuckle that split in half dickhead:thefinger::thefinger::thefinger:

HAHAHA.... man I love my 5.0, I wouldnt trade it for the world. I am really glad I decided to soup it up also, I wouldnt of been happy with a stockish 5.0.

and yeah, someone made the comment to me "if you had KP's you wouldnt break them" and I replied "no, I would of just split the knuckle off"

In fact, it is my fault the BJ's broke... I was so far out into moab that I was just trying to sheer the yoke ears off, and instead it busted up the bj's. Which is good, because that allowed me to pull the inner shaft out. I didnt have all the tools needed to disassemble.

the B2 has been neglected so badly. It is still sitting on the trailer with a flat tire now.

I need to clean up the boogers on the steering arm. build some sliders for it, and I guess nobody from the meet mentioned it, and I forgot to say it... but when we were all racing on the beach during the TRS banner meet my oil pump locked up. broke the d-shaft, put a new pump d-shaft on... now it looks like a twizzler. Ordered a pump and arp shaft from summit. shaft has been here for weeks... just got a letter today saying the shaft is set to ship sept 2nd!! fawk.

Plus, I've been so busy/focused on this damn 6.9IDI build that I haven't had time to touch the bronco.

Funny part is, as soon as the diesel is done, I'm going to want to make a trip to go wheeling, and the wheeling rig wont be ready.

i knew the new diesel was a bad idea :D

i wake up to a message from you on aim almost everymorning lol, im in bed by 9pm central :thefinger: except weekends lol
