Bought the truck from a neighbor for $2000. Driver door was destroyed, bed was rotted out on front passenger corner, 2 broken leaves, bad transmission solenoids, bad speedometer sensor, bad alternator, cracked windshield. Entire interior had to be taken out; previous owner was a slob, his son puked in the truck several times and he never did anything about it. Dash also had to be taken out and cleaned peice by peice because the kid puked into the defroster. Back window was smashed out.

This is the first picture I took, its after a new windshield and back window.

This is how my paint came out. Don't think I will ever lay paint this nice again in my life....

old bumper and the new one i made

New shackles and hangers

This is the truck pretty much finished in summer of '08, a year after i bought it

Then this happened...
Had to put in a new header panel, radiator support, passenger headlight & marker light, new hood.

Priming my new hood

Finish coat on the new hood

The spare tire rack was junk, so I cut it out and put my own in

This is it finished

New ladder rack that I made from scratch

Just a shot of the truck working a little

Hit a patch of ice going up hill, hit the guardrail, the guard wire was wrapped around the rear axle

Just a few other things I've done:
-Rugged Ridge manual hub-locks to replace shitty PVH hub-locks
-Explorer 15" rims off my old man's 99 explorer, then 16" off a '98 Explorer Eddie Bauer I bought for parts
-JVC CD Player
-Frame is mostly rebuilt from cab back
-After second accident, had to replace the rack and pinion, which I took out of my parts Explorer.

Plans to take 8.8 out of my parts explorer, with leaves, throw them underneath the truck. Plans to build a flatbed since my bed is pretty much junk. New front bumper is in the works.
