its more because the fender well gap... it will be lowered in about a month.. and thats a 285/45/22 series tire cant go much more then that as you lose the amount you can haul as that is a standard size tire
no really the bigger tires cause it to rub when i turn thats why they mill down the 22.5's to fit low pro 22" tires which all us to run the alcoa setup just w/ low profile tire to fit and function
i would love to complain about the huge wheels on a heavy duty truck, but the fact that they're real, milled down 22.5" semi wheels just makes it too awesome! nice truck bro
i dont drive in mud or gravel but do drive in snow and ice just not w/ these wheels.. but haul my 20' enclosed trailer w/ 3 bikes in it to sturgis w/ no problems..
also I am getting a whole new front end w/ headlights from a 06' super duty
personally, i love it... looks good! wouldn't work for me b/c of fields and junk i usually end up in. but-- if it works for you and looks that good. thumbs up!
